Short Biography

Dr. Bruce E. Blagrove is a general Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon. He currently practices at Drax Hall Medical & Surgical Ltd where he is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of that facility. He is also a medical officer in the Orthopaedic department at the St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital.

He completed the Doctor of Medicine (DM) post-graduate degree in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in December 2020. He also did his basic medical training at the same institution earning the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (B. MSc.) and Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees.

Dr. Blagrove has particular interest in trauma and the sub-specialty areas of deformity correction and hip and knee arthroplasty. He hopes to pursue fellowship training in hip and knee joint replacement in the future.

Dr. Blagrove has a wealth of experience performing surgeries in most sub-specialty areas of Orthopaedic surgery. He is keen on continuing education and training and attends many conferences and workshops annually.
